Corruption to be erased for countrys desired goal: Tajul

DHAKA Minister for Local Government Rural

Development and Cooperatives (LGRD) Md Tajul Islam said today it is

imperative to root out corruption once for all to help the country achive its

avowed goal for the benefits of all people.

Awami Leage government always thinks about the country and its

development. The development of the country will benefit the people who will

be able to improve their lot if the Awami League government continues to

remain in power. The BNP government has brought the country to backwardness

causing huge losses to the people by indulging in massive corruption.

Everyone has to be careful about them the minister said.

The minister was addressing as the chief guest the inauguration ceremony of

Syed Nazrul Islam Convention Center in ??Gabtali area.

Chairman of Dhaka Zila Parishad Mahbubur Rahman presided over the meeting .

The convention center was built after the name of the first acting

president of Bangladesh Syed Nazrul Islam at a cost of tk one crore under the

initiative of the Dhaka Zilla Parishad.

Lawmaker of Dhaka 14 Aslamul Haque Inspector General of Registration Khan

Md Abdul Mannan Additional Secretary of LGRD Ministry Aminul Islam Khan

among others spoke on the occasion.

Scholarships were distributed among the meritorious students who passed

SSC or equivalent examinations in 2019 in Dhaka district on the occasion.
