DHAKA, March 23, 2017 (BSS) - The combined warfare display of Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air-force, marking the Independence and National Day, has begun at the National Parade Square at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar here.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the exhibition on Wednesday.
President M Abdul Hamid will visit the exhibition on March 25, said an ISPR press release.
The display will remain open for civilians from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on March 23, 26, 27 and 29. On March 24, the display will remain open from 9:30 am to 12 noon for general people.
On March 28, it will remain open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm only for family members of the Armed Forces and students of military schools and colleges.
Special arrangements will be there from 12 noon to 5:30 pm for students of schools and colleges of Dhaka city with common people on March 29.
A total forty-seven stalls have been set up at the exhibition where 32 stalls for Bangladesh Army, six stalls for Navy and six for Air-forces.
Different modern weapons of Bangladesh Army, equipments, ultra-modern equipments of para commando battalion, modern new flagship BNS Bangabandhu and newly commissioned submarine replicas have also been displayed at the exhibition.
Most attractive things of the exhibition are fly-past, para dropping, rappelling, un-armed combat, Navy squads, combined band and orchestra and Liberation war based exhibition.
