Bangladesher Samyabadi Dal (ML) has extended its support to the countrywide half-day hartal on March 28, called by different political parties.
The support for the hartal came from a virtual meeting of the party held on Saturday, said a press release of the BSD, signed by the conveyor of the party Kazi Mostafa Kamal.
The BSD said that the people have been in a terrible situation due to the excessive hike of essential commodities.
It also urged the leftist parties to build a united movement against the government.
