Realme has achieved huge popularity for their budget phone series. In this legacy, Realme has launched 6i in June 2020. Due to the 5000mAh battery, this phone appears a bit heavy (199g). Its 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Built with a plastic frame and plastic back, Redmi 9 bears a matt finished backside. This phone is provided with an HD display (720 x 1600 pixels, 20:9 ratios, and ~ 269 PPI densities).
Realme 6i’s powerful quad rear-camera series is a blessing for those who have a passion for amateur photography. In this phone, you get a 48MP prime shooter, with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. Though its primary shooter can capture photos at 16MP by default you can enhance up to 48MP through optimization. Furthermore, it has a 16MP front camera. Its box includes an 18W fast charger.
This budget phone comes with Mediatek Helio 80 chipset with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is the best processor configuration for low-end gaming in budget phones. Realme 6i works on Realme UI 1.0 on top of Android 10 OS. Though not efficient like MIUI, Realme UI works fine. Realme 6i (4GB+ 128GB) is officially available at BDT 16,990 in Bangladesh. Considering the overall features the price-tag seems reasonable. However, if you are looking for a Smartphone with a full HD display check out other options!
Xiaomi Redmi 9
Xiaomi phones are mostly expensive in compliance with their exclusive features. But launching Redmi 9 in July 2020, Xiaomi enters the market of official budget phones in Bangladesh. The nicely curved design with a gradient backside keeps this phone one step ahead to 6i. However, Redmi 9’s several features such as plastic back, weight, display size, protective layer, battery, and charger capacity appear similar to Realme 6i.
But Redmi 9 makes the winning deal with its full HD Plus display featuring 1080 x 2340 pixels, at 19.5:9 ratios with ~ 395 PPI densities. Therefore, while playing YouTube videos or playing games, the Redmi 9 can offer brighter and sharper image quality than Realme 6i. With an amazing 400 nit brightness feature, Redmi 9’s display performs greater than Realme 6i in the direct sunlight.
Redmi 9 is operated through Android 10 OS combined with MIUI 11. CPU and GPU configuration of Redmi 9 is akin to 6i. By virtue of the better optimization of MIUI would make Redmi 9 run faster and smoother than 6i. This Smartphone has quad rear cameras including 13MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. For the selfie lovers, Redmi 9 offers an 8MP front shooter. However, in the camera section, Redmi 9 stays behind the competitor Realme 6i.
Currently, the official Redmi 9 (4GB+64GB) Smartphone costs about BDT 14,999 in Bangladesh. If you wish to buy a Smartphone at BDT 15000 for the full HD display, casual gaming, satisfactory images, and IR Bluster option go for Redmi 9.
Oppo is always the preferable Smartphone brand for those who prefer looks and camera features over any other thing. In July 2020, Oppo has released their latest budget Smartphone Oppo A52. It has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. Like Redmi 9, you get a full FD display in Oppo A52. Its superb resolution capacity features 1080 x 2400 pixels, at 20:9 ratios with picture density ~405 PPI. In simple words, Oppo A52 presents amazing visual experience while watching media files or gaming. Furthermore, out-winning the competitors with 480 nit brightness its display provides awesome performance in direct sunlight.
While the competitor brands are advertising cameras by higher pixel numbers, Oppo phones come with a professional camera. Oppo A52 preserves this reputation with quad rear camera series (12MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) along with a front camera (16MP). Though much pricier than Realme 6i, the camera configuration of Oppo A52 stays behind. But its image quality won’t dishearten you. Unlike the Realme phones, the photos taken by Oppo A52 look more realistic preserving balance between color accuracy and brightness.
Oppo A52 has been equipped with Qualcomm SM6125 Snapdragon 665 (11 nm) chipset. Its octa-core processor features up to 2.0 GHz clock speed. It’s Adreno 610 GPU can provide decent graphics. Comparing performance this processor is quite equivalent to Mediatek’s Helio G80 processor which we have found in Realme 6i and Redmi 9. Like these two phones, Oppo A52 bears a 5000mAh battery with an 18W charger. Oppo A52’s (4GB/128GB) official price is about BDT 19,990.
