DHAKA, Belarus Ambassador to Bangladesh Andrei I Rzheussky today said his country wants to extend its cooperation to Bangladesh for the modernization of agriculture sector.
The envoy made the remark when he along with two other delegates paid a courtesy call on Agriculture Minister Dr Md Abdur Razzaque at his residence here, said a press release.
During the meeting, Rzheussky showed his interest in imparting training to Bangladeshi engineers and workers in using heavy agricultural machines.
The ambassador expressed his hope that the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Belarus will be stronger in the coming days.
Razzaque said Bangladesh wants to further enhance the sectors of business and commerce and investments with Belarus in future.
He said Bangladesh will be benefited if technical knowledge is exchanged in agriculture and industry sectors.
The minister also highlighted different development aspects of Bangladesh.
