Defending champions Bangladesh registered their third successive victories in the Bangabandhu Cup Int'l Kabaddi tournament beating Nepal by 40-24 points held today (Thursday) at the National Volleyball Stadium in the city.
With the day's victory, Bangladesh reached top of the group A and advanced one more step ahead towards the semifinal.
Earlier, Bangladesh beat Poland and Argentina in their first two group matches.
Bangladesh faces England in their fourth match of the group scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at 2 pm.
Meanwhile, Kenya tasted their first victory beating Indonesia 65-33 while Thailand also earned their third consecutive victory in outplaying Malaysia 25-14 in the other matches of the day also held at the same venue.
