Brothers Union Club earned their second straight victory in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football 2022-23, outplaying Fakirerpool Yongmen’s Club 3-0 at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka’s Kamalapur Sunday.
The Gopibagh club, which managed a 2-0 win over Uttara FC in the previous match, dominated the first half 2-0 today.
Jikon opened the Brothers account in the 35th minute (1-0). Jewel doubled their lead in the 36th (2-0) while Saiful sealed the fate of the match scoring the third goal for Brothers in the 86th (3-0).
In today’s other match, Gopalganj Sporting Club beat Fortis Academy 1-0 at the same venue in the afternoon.
Shafin scored the winner for Gopalganj in the 74thminute (1-0)
