DHAKA-Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu leaves here for China tonight to attend an international forum to be held to promote free trade and stimulate cooperation in infrastructure connectivity among participating countries.
The two-day forum titled the "Belt and Road Forum for International
Cooperation/Belt and Road Forum (BRF) is scheduled to kick off on May 14 at China National Convention Centre at Beijing in China, said a press today.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission of China XU Shaoshi invited Amu to attend the forum.
Representatives from 100 countries and international organisations will take part the forum.
The industries minister is scheduled to return home on May 18.
