Aims to get big score in first innings: Mushfiq

Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim said aims to get 300 plus run with his mates in the first innings of Chittagong Test by saying that those, who will able to take first innings lead, will lead the entire Test.

Mushfiqur Rahim believes that Toss will be a key factor in Chittagong Test. "Toss is important. It is better to bat earlier. It will be big plus for you, if anyone can play big innings from the top order and we can score 300 plus runs in the scoreboard in first innings." he said at a pre-match press conference held on Wednesday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chittagong.

After a prolong 14 months gap, the Tigers are going to play Test cricket. They will take on England in the first Test of the two-match series scheduled to begin tomorrow (Thursday) at ZACS in Chittagong.

Although Bangladesh will play this match after a long time, Mushfiqur Rahim is confident to play better cricket against England. He knows that after the break of long time, game against such a big team England won't be easy but he believes that his co-player have the power to stave off their opponents.

The Tigers captain also believes that most of the cricketers are in the good form and said: "If you look at the squad, you will find 5-6 cricketers who are playing in all the three formats for the country. From this view, I think all of them are in good forms." The diminutive wicket keeper also hoped that his senior fellow mates Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shakib Al Hasan would able to flare up in time and would help him to make a big score in the first innings.
