Members of Anti-Terrorism Unit
(ATU) of police today arrested a member of banned militant outfit
‘Ansar Al Islam’ from Korail Adarshanagar in the city’s Banani.
The arrested was identified as Md Samshul Haque alias Eman, 27
of Burirchar village in Barguna, said ATU Media and Awareness
Wing police super Barrister Mahfuzul Alam Russel.
He said Eman along with other members of the organization were planning to carry out sabotage attack in the country.
A case was filed with Banani police station in this regard.
