Annual performance agreement (APA) of Department
of Cooperatives for the fiscal year of 2023-24 was signed on Monday at the
department’s Titas Conference Room in the city’s Agargaon.
Cooperatives Department Director General and Registrar Dr Tarun Kanti Sikder
chaired the function while department’s Additional Registrar (Society
Management) Md Ahsan Kabir and Additional Registrar (Admin) Mohammad Hafijul
Haider Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
Bangladesh Cooperative Academy Principal Kazi Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, among the
divisional cooperative officers-Sheikh Kamal Hossain of Dhaka, Mrinal Kanti
Biswas of Rangpur, Mokhlesur Rahman of Rajshahi, Ashish Kumar Barua of
Chattogram, Mizanur Rahman of Khulna, Muhammad Abdullah Al Mamun of Barishal,
Nabirul Islam of Mymensingh, Muhammad Tanim Rahman of Sylhet were present.
Milk Vita Managing Director Dipankar Mondal and Bangladesh Samabaya Bank
Limited acting General Manager and Chief Executive Officer Jharna Prova Debi
joined the APA signing ceremony on behalf of respective institutions.
Cooperatives Department Director General and Registrar Dr Tarun Kanti Sikder
said if the work plan for the fiscal year of 2023-24 can be implemented in a
proper way, it will be effective for the cooperatives sector.
He urged all officials to discharge duties sincerely to this end.
