RAJSHAHI A total of 94.10 percent students passed the Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations-2019 under Rajshahi Education Board this year while the pass rate of last year was 94.57.
A total of 2,63,683 students appeared in the examination at 259 centres from 2,986 schools in eight districts under the board this year.
Of those, 2,58,186 came out successful and 16,478 students including 9,200
girls got GPA-5.
The board authority announced the results at a press conference at the
conference hall of board office here this noon with Controller of
Examinations of the Board Prof Debashish Ranjan Roy in the chair.
This year, a hundred percent pass has been attained in 820 schools while
the number of zero percent pass school is two.
Expressing happiness at the results, board officials said they will take
more steps to make the results furthermore good in the years to come.
Secretary of the board Prof Moazzem Hossain, Deputy Controller of
Examinations Selina Parveen, Senior System Analyst Engineer Shafiqul Islam
and Chief Evaluation Officer SM Golam Azam also addressed the press
