SYLHET, A team of 52 government officials including the seven deputy commissioners of bordering districts left the country today for India to attend DCDM meeting of Bangladesh and India.
The meeting will be held at Shilong, capital of the Indian State of Meghalaya, officials here today said.
The team which left Tamabil land port this morning is comprised of the deputy commissioners and officials of different levels of police, border guard, water development board, customs and narcotics control department.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Aslam Uddin said such meeting is held every year to discuss the border problems and other issues of mutual interests.
The team will return home on Wednesday.
