DHAKA A three-day 'Jute fair' featuring diverse jute
products is set to begin from tomorrow in the city to restore lost glory of
the golden fiber.
The fair will take place on the premises of the 'Khela Ghor Hall' of Dhaka
Officers Club here, an official handout said.
Textiles and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi is expected to inaugurate
the fair at 3pm tomorrow on the aforesaid premises, it added.
Jute Diversification Promotion Center (JDPC) under the Ministry of Textiles
and Jute, is organizing the fair aiming to create awareness among people and
promote diverse jute products to protect environment from further pollution.
Various diverse jute products will be displayed and sold in the fair.
