The traditional tribal housing of Sajek is known as Machang. These thatched-roof houses are made from bamboo and wood. They have been an integral part and a defining feature of the tribal people.

The army resort is managed by the Bangladesh army. It is situated in the Runmoy area of Sajek valley. The area itself is situated on the topmost part of the main valley.
