Electronics manufacturer Vision has started exporting electric kettles to Nepal.
The first consignment of the kitchen accessory was sent to the Himalayan nation recently.
Kazi Rashidul Islam, chief operating officer of Vision, said: “We have sent the first consignment of 8,244 electric kettles to Nepal, and around 1 lakh pieces will be sent in the next few months. We hope to export many more items including television, electric iron, blender and rice cooker to the country.”
“Now the annual growth of Vision products is more than 40 per cent, and the volume is getting bigger. We are also focusing on exporting our products to different countries.”
Kamruzzaman Kamal, director (marketing) of Pran-RFL Group, said: “We are now exporting products to India, Nepal, South Africa, Ghana and Fiji.”
