A 40-year-old man was killed and another one injured when a truck hit two rickshaws in the city’s Ramna area early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Nur Alam while the injured was identified as Tuhin, 36. Both of them were residents of Tejgaon area.
The accident occurred around 6 am in front of Ramna Officer’s Quarter when the truck hit the two rickshaws carrying eggs, leaving them injured, said Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
Later, they were taken to DMCH where doctors declared Nur dead.
Tuhin is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
