Xiaomi has created headlines once again by announcing the debut of a brand-new spectacular product on 28 October 2021. Clearly, this is a much-anticipated and updated series for many Xiaomi fans. However, the phone was initially only available in China, but it will be available in other parts of the globe very soon. The Redmi Note 11 series comprises three smartphones: the Redmi Note 11, Pro, and Pro+. This post will not examine all devices but will focus only on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Full Review

Design

With an 8.8 mm thickness and an overall 163.6 x, 75.8 x 8.8 mm smartphone is comfortable to carry. Simultaneously, the device’s three appealing and trendy hues, Milky Way Blue, Mysterious Black, and Mint Green, will provide it with a lovely appearance.

For people who are searching for a design in the professional area, Mysterious Black is a fantastic option. Milky Way Blue is a nice choice for children, and Mint Green is also a decent choice depending on the individual’s taste. Each of the three hues is capable of conveying a beautiful appearance in its own unique style.

The phone feels silky and smooth to the touch, with gradient reflective colors. On the back, Gorilla glass protects the phone, making it easy to hold despite its smoothness. Additionally, a little camera hump reduces jitter when used on a flat surface. Furthermore, the cameras are contained inside a two-column camera bump equipped with a quad-LED flash.

Display

The screen is the smartphone’s second most crucial component. Its 6.6-inch screen with ultra-thin bezels has a widescreen resolution of 1080p in IPS LCD technology. This has been quite a fall from the previous Redmi Note 10’s screen as it had come with a Super AMOLED.

Its flagship-level 20:9 aspect ratio provides more area for gaming, watching movies, editing videos, and accessing social media. Additionally, the 399 PPI density ensures a clear and crisp picture. However, the Redmi Note 11 presented 409ppi density, which was kind of more premium.

90 Hz is an acceptable refresh rate for gaming and video playback. Additionally, the Redmi Note 11 smartphone supports twin Nano-SIM cards and is dust and water-resistant.

Rear Camera

The cameras of the Redmi Note 11 are renowned for their rapid focusing and smooth photos. It gives the phone a premium appearance.

The main camera takes photos that are sharp, well-balanced, and have accurate color reproduction. A balanced exposure and improved colors are obtained by enabling both the HDR and AI enhancement capabilities. Furthermore, the 50MP wide lens gives tactile clarity.

Users may also take acceptable zoomed photographs with accurate color tone since the main sensor is used for zooming; however, zooming further is unstable and generates a lot of noise owing to the absence of a telephoto lens.

The following camera is an 8MP ultrawide-angle. It tends to overexpose and displays chromatic aberration at times. Users only need to regulate exposure and dial it down a little to slightly underexpose it or all the way to zero to rectify it.

The Redmi Note 11 lacks macro and depth sensors. Clearly, this is a big step down from the Redmi Note 10. The main camera is capable of recording movies with a resolution of up to 1080p at a frame rate of 30 frames per second.

Front Camera

The 16MP selfie camera is good for portrait photography since it captures rich contrast without compromising quality in low-light environments. Additionally, it provides a true skin tone hue, and, unlike other cameras, it does not apply excessive smoothing and results in an image that is more than natural and lovely. If you become unsatisfied with your appearance, cosmetic and aesthetic adjustments may assist.

Performance and Software

The phone runs on the current Android 11 operating system, which is an attractive, sophisticated feature. Additionally, this phone runs the MIUI 12.5 operating system, which provides an excellent user experience with several customizable features.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 comes in four memory configurations. There is a minimum of 128GB internal storage with 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM. The upper variant offers up to 256GB internal storage with 8GB RAM. 2.2 UFS side by side provides quicker read and write speeds.

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset is used to regulate performance. Its 2.4 GHz Octa-core CPU guarantees that it operates at a respectable pace. Apart from the visuals, the Mali-G57 MC2 offers a respectable gaming experience for light games. Along with these capabilities, 5G connection will increase data transfer speeds and enable smooth video calling with no delay.

Battery and Charging

The 5000mAh battery provides 8 hours of continuous screen time. If you use it for general purposes, a single charge will provide you with a full day’s battery life. If users want to watch a movie or play a game continuously, they will get roughly 7 to 8 hours of battery life.

The 33W fast charger can recharge your battery in an hour, which should provide an excellent user experience by significantly decreasing charging time. Additionally, it has the trendy side-mounted fingerprint sensor and NFC capabilities.

Price of Redmi Note 11 in Bangladesh

The new Redmi Note 11 is not available in Bangladesh right now. The phone can be bought unofficially at 16,151 with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, BDT 17,498 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, BDT 20,192 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and BDT 22,887 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The prices are converted from the CNY currency. The CNY to BDT is CNY 1 = BDT 13.47. In Bangladesh, the price may vary due to diverse reasons like tax issues and company rates.

Verdict

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 smartphone instills a fresh sense of desire in customers of mid-range smartphones. The nice display, large battery, 5G compatibility, and competent processor all combine to make this a viable option for most mobile users, depending on their demands.

However, this smartphone does not have Gorilla Glass protection and is just splash-resistant. Overall, these qualities are adequate for the price point.
