No propaganda can stop the establishment of a Safari Park in Juri upazila of Moulvibazar, said Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md. Shahab Uddin on Thursday.
“A safari park is being constructed at Lathitila in Juri upazila to conserve the forest and wildlife. Although the people of Juri Upazila support the initiative, a few are engaged in spreading propaganda in this regard,”he said.
“No propaganda could obstruct the establishment of Bangabandhu Safari Park,” he added.
The minister was speaking as the chief guest at a view exchange meeting on the occasion of the inauguration of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the academic building of Dakshinbhag NCM High School in Baralekha upazila of Moulvibazar district on Thursday afternoon.
He also revealed that the government is working with various projects with an aim to generate 60,000 MW of electricity in the country in 2041.
“Everyone has to acknowledge the recent developments that have taken place in the country,” he concluded.
