Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Badiul Alam Manju, president of Dhanbari unit Awami League under Tangail district.
Sheikh Hasina, also Awami League president, prayed for the eternal salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family.
Alhaj Badiul Alam Manju breathed his last at 12:30pm on Saturday at a city hospital at the age of 82. He left behind five sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well- wishers.
Meanwhile, AL general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Badiual Alam.
