Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast light rain across the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on Monday.
According to the Met office, “Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.”
The low over central part of Andaman Sea and adjoining area persists. It is likely to intensify. Trough of low lies over North Bay.
Night temperature may fall slightly over northern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 13.7 degree Celsius in Tentulia on Monday.
