Khalique struck twice, Rocky, Sifat. Rakib and Topu scored one each for the bankers’ team while Monoj Babu scored two and Mohammad Omar one for the Insurancemen’s team.
Earlier in the day’s first match, Victoria Sporting Club beat Wari Club by a solitary goal scored by Belal Hossain in the 6th minute at the same venue.
In the day’s other match, Bangladesh Sporting Club defeated Ajax Sporting Club by 5-2 goal at the same venue.
