A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Demra area of Dhaka Tuesday noon.
The fire started around 1:05 pm at a tin-shed building near Rajmahal Cinema Hall, said Shahjahan Shikder, Deputy Assistant Director (media cell) of the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
Five units of firefighters are working to put out the blaze, he added.
The origin of the fire could not be known yet, Shahjahan said.
