A fire broke out in a godown of a chemical factory in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district on Wednesday.
Deputy Director of Gazipur fire service Abdul Hamid Miah said the fire broke out in the factory at Maona Tepirbari around 7:30pm.
Nine firefighting units from Sreepur and adjacent areas rushed to the spot and are trying to douse the blaze.
