A fire broke out at a warehouse of a spinning mill in Sreepur municipal area in Gazipur on Saturday evening.
The fire started inside the warehouse for cotton of the Outspace Spinning Mills at 7:30 pm.
Five firefighting units were trying to control the flames, said Iftekhar Hossain Rayhan Chowdhury, an officer of Sreepur Fire Service Station.
No casualties were reported, said the fire service officer.
He said the cause of the fire and losses from it could not be identified immediately.
