Srinivas Mohan designed the VFX of this epic fantasy made by S.S Rajamouli. Its story follows Shiva and Avanthika on a quest to free Devasena, Mahishmati’s former queen from the grasp of Bhallaladeva, the tyrannical king. The story ends with the 2nd part of the movie- Baahubali: The Conclusion (2017).

The major film stars are Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Nassar, Ramya Krishna, and Sathyaraj. It was the first Indian film to receive a Saturn Award nomination and the first Telugu film to win the National Film Award for Best Special Effects and Best Feature Film.

Furthermore, Do-Ahn Jung and Jung-Ryu Park won the Blue Dragon Award for Best VFX and Best Technical Award for martial arts respectively. Besides these, Lee Jeong-Beom got Max Movie, and Philadelphia Film awards as Best Director.

The story, written by Edmond Wong, shows how Ip Man established the dignity of the Chinese people throughout the Japanese invasion of China, even when survival was difficult. Donnie Yen got the ‘Beijing College Student Film Festival award’ and ‘2nd Iron Elephant award’ as best actor. Sammo Hung and Tony Leung Siu-hung won the ‘28th Hong Kong Film’ award, ‘46th Golden Horse Film’ award, and ‘2nd Iron Elephant’ award for the Best Action Choreography.
