Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 73 people during an anti-drug drive in the city till Monday morning.
The 24-hour drive started on Sunday morning across the city, officials said.
During this drive 4400 pieces of yaba, 110 gm heroin, 78 gm marijuana, eight bottles of local alcohol were recovered from the arrestees.
A total of 49 cases have been registered against the arrested people under the Narcotics Control Act in respective police stations
