Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Thursday arrested three drug peddlers in the city’s Mugdapara area with 40,000 pieces of yaba.
The arrestees are- Md. Kamal, Mst. Rahima Kamal and Md. Rajib.
Mugdapara police at around 6:10 am ran a raid over a tip-off and arrested the drug peddlers.
Mugda Police inspector Ashish Kumar Dev who led the raid said that they had a tip-off and recovered 40,000 yaba pieces from three drug peddlers.
The arrestees were sent to court after a case was filed by Mugda police station, the inspector added.
