Shironamhin to celebrate silver jubilee with year-long festivities

Shironamhin, a triumphant band in the Bangladeshi music industry, is going to celebrate its silver jubilee this year with multiple activities and concerts across the country and also in Mumbai, India.

The band, known for their enormously popular albums like “Jahaji,” “Bondho Janala” and more, stepped into its silver jubilee in April, last year. The celebrations, however, were put on hold given the global coronavirus outbreak situation.

This year, Shironamhin has planned a year-long event schedule in collaboration with marketing communication agency Brandmyth Experiential, formerly known as Brandmyth Communication.

As part of the planned celebrations, Shironamhin will collaborate with the Mumbai-based Symphony Orchestra team which has previously collaborated with world famous music bands including Metallica, Scorpions and more.

This is the first time any Bangladeshi band is collaborating with the Symphony Orchestra, and Shironamhin members are anticipated to travel to Mumbai several times to train with the Orchestra team.

According to Brandmyth Experiential, the agency is hiring the best sound panel, sound engineer, photo and videographer along with technicians for arranging enthralling light and fire shows to work for Shironamhin during its performances at the planned events.

The band has redesigned their website and will be adding a section called “Shironamhin Jahaji” for their fans, where they can participate in an exclusive art competition titled “Aro Ekti Janala” where participants can manifest their thoughts and fondness about their favorite band through their artworks and win exclusive gifts and surprises including tickets for the shows.

There will also be a song cover competition, in which participants can recreate their favorite Shironamhin songs for a chance to win prizes and concert tickets.

Shironamhin started its journey back in 1996 with the its popular album ‘Jahaji,’ made by its original line-up featuring Zia (Bass), Tuhin: (Vocal), Tushar (Guitar), Jewel (Guitar), Farhan (Sarod) and Shafin (Drums).

The current line of the Shironamhin consists of Zia (Bass), Shafin (Drums), Diat (Guitar), Rashel (Keys) and Istiaque (Vocal).
