Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Sunday paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Bangabandhu Corner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, marking the National Mourning Day.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen were also present.
All senior officials of the ministry attended the event.
The Foreign Minister, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Foreign Secretary also planted three saplings separately at the premises of the ministry.
They paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Bangamata Fazilatun Nesa Mujib and other martyrs of the 15th of August.
They and the officials of the ministry offered Munajat for the salvation of the deceased.
