Culex mosquito menace to come under control in two weeks: Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh today expressed his optimism over bringing control of culex mosquito menace after next two weeks in the city.

“I urge the city dwellers to keep patient over prevention of Culex mosquito menace as we have changed the strategy to combat the Culex mosquito menace in the city. We have extended the activities of the city corporation in the morning alongside increasing the night hours also,” he said.

The mayor came up with the remarks while talking to journalists after inaugurating the Panthakunjo Box Calvert and Panthakunjo Secondary Waste Transfer Station (STS) at Panthapath here.

He said that the activities to combat the dengue menace will also start from April.
