Australia to bat first against Bangladesh

Australia have won the toss and opted to bat first in the second T20I of the five-match series against Bangladesh on Wednesday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

Both the teams have fielded an unchanged playing XI.

Bangladesh won the first match of the series on Tuesday by 23 runs which was Bangladesh’s first-ever T20I win over the Aussies.

Nasum Ahmed, the left-arm spinner, bagged four wickets in the first match to guide the Tigers to a historic win. Before this series, Bangladesh played a total of four matches against Australia in the format and lost all of them.

Bangladesh posted only 131 runs in the first match. Despite that, they managed to seal the game riding on the performance of the spinners.
