AL, BNP failed to ensure good governance: GM Quader

Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader on Tuesday said the country’s people now eager to see his party in power as the two major parties–Awami League and BNP–have failed to ensure good governance during their rule.

“Jatiya Party will be considered as a brand in future politics. As people evaluate the products of a brand, leaders and workers of the Jatiya Party will also be considered as ideal politicians to people,” he said.

GM Quader said, “Under the leadership of HM Ershad, Jatiya Party has a glorious tradition of ensuring development, good governance and social security. But Awami League and BNP have failed to give people good governance.”

Describing Jatiya Party as a patriotic political force, he said people want to rely on it for good governance and their security. “People want to see Jatiya Party in power.”

GM Quader urged the leaders and activists of Jatiya Party to strengthen the organisational capacity of the party to return to power.

He made the remarks while newly-appointed Jatiya Party Chairman’s adviser Naznin Sultana met him at his Uttara residence.

Quader welcomed Naznin and called upon her to work hard for reorganising the party.
