UML to establish foundation in memory of Nembang

Kathmandu: Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has announced that the UML would establish a central foundation in memory of leader Subas Nembang. This is being done so that his ideals and thoughts would be remembered and replicated for the reforms in party and system.

Addressing the first memorial day of the Constituent Assembly Chair and vice chairman of the CPN-UML in the capital on Wednesday, PM Oli remembered the late Nembang as an ardent adherent of democracy. The memorial event was organized by the Tulsilal Memorial Foundation.

Leader Nembang played a vital role in ensuring promulgation of the constitution from the Constituent Assembly. He not only played his part as Chair but also as an ideological precursor, according to PM Oli. “He was an able constitutional and legal expert and true follower of democracy. His demise caused unprecedented loss to his family and our party, while the country lost a patriotic figure,” Oli stressed.
