The Pasang Lyamu road of Rasuwa that was obstructed due to landslide following heavy rainfall has come into operation.
Hundreds of vehicles, including passenger-ferrying buses that were stranded at Mulkharka have already moved to their destinations with the resumption of traffic operations.
According to Chief District Officer Bednidhi Khanal, the road has been cleared by removing a ‘breaker’ with the use of excavators brought from Nuwakot.
The road was blocked when the landslide debris got piled up on the road surface due to last night’s rain.
According to the traffic police, containers carrying Chinese goods, passengers and local citizens moving to Mansarovar Kailas of China and Gosainkunda of Rasuwa have already gone to their destinations.
The Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have facilitated the passengers moving to the landslide site throughout the day.
