The Bangladesh Cricket team will meet Professor
Muhammad Yunus, chief adviser to the interim government at his residence
tomorrow.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Faruque Ahmed, director Nazmul
Abedeen Fahim and CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury will accompany the players during
the visit, the BCB’s media wing informed.
After the unforgettable success in Pakistan earlier this month, Professor
Yunus called Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto to congratulate the
team.
Bangladesh will leave the country for India on September 15 to play two Tests
and three T20 Internationals. The tour will start with the first Test,
beginning on September 19 in Chennai.
