BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru
Mahmud Chowdhury today called upon all Paharis-Bengalis to work together as
brothers, saying that terrorists and illegal occupants have no room in BNP.
“There is no room for terrorists and illegal occupants in the BNP . . . If
BNP comes to power in future, people will be happy. And I urge all Paharis-
Bengalis to work together as brothers,” he told a gathering here.
The senior BNP leader was speaking at a ‘Relief distribution ceremony’,
organized by BNP’s associate body Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal
at Dighinala Chhato Merung High School ground here this afternoon.
Referring to the BNP’s future politics, he said the party’s future politics
will be only to materialize the “New Bangladesh” in line with the dream of
country’s national hero Tarique Rahman and to fulfill the expectations of the
new generation as well.
Swechchhasebak Dal central President SM Jilani presided over the relief
distribution ceremony.

ct Unit President of BNP Wadud Bhuiyan,
Swechchhasebak Dal Central Committee General Secretary Rajib Ahsan also spoke
there.
Later, relief goods were distributed among 500 flood-affected families in
different areas of the upazila.
On his way back, the BNP Standing Committee Member visited the house of
Rabiul Islam, local union committee president of the party, who was killed by
Awami League activists in Dighinala earlier.
