Minister instructs health workers to get ready for emergency services


Kathmandu: Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel has directed all hospitals and health workers to get ready to provide health services round the clock as the country has suffered severely from flooding and landslides due to heavy rainfall for the past two days.

Minister Paudel has urged hospitals across the country to make their emergency services further effective and ensure services round the clock even by extending the time for regular service delivery.

He has also said that the Ministry of Health and Population was ready to ensure treatment to the needy and has urged the stakeholders to establish contact with the health institutions for emergency treatment.

Paudel has said that coordination was being done among the agencies to expedite the rescue and relief operations and has urged all to remain safe and alert.
