Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places in five divisions and at many places in three divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at some places in five divisions.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions,” a met release said.
Moderately heavy to very heavy falls is likely to occur at different places of Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, said the weather forecast valid for 24 hours from 9 am today.
The depression over east Madhya Pradesh and adjoining area moved slowly north-northwestwards and now lies over northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining south Uttar Pradesh. It is likely to move slowly north-northwestwards further.
The axis of monsoon trough runs through Punjab, Haryana, center of the Land Depression
, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal to Assam across southern part of Bangladesh.
