Landowners urged to contact land offices to solve problems

Speakers urged the landowners to contact

either land offices or Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) and Assistant

Commissioners (ACs) to solve land related problems easily.

The UNOs and AC Lands are the proper channels for solving the problems faced

by the land owners, they said, adding that there is no need to contact

brokers as they extract public money in the name of services.

Administrative officials and civil society members made the observation at a

daylong democratic dialogue on land related issues at Bhumir Pathshala in

Paba Upazila of the district today.

behalf of the “Young people at high schools strengthen women rights and

inclusive governance in Bangladesh (YUKTA)” project of DASCOH Foundation

supported by Netz Bangladesh.

issue along with portraying aims, objectives and implementation strategy of

the project in his keynote presentation.

land related complications and none will be deceived if he or she follows the

proper channel.
