Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, and US Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, Uzea Zeya, held a meeting here today.
During the meeting, matters related to peace, human rights and democracy and laws related to transitional justice recently passed by the parliament of Nepal were discussed, according to Embassy of Nepal in Washington DC.
On the occasion, Foreign Minister Rana shared that the parliament of Nepal has passed the TRC bill and the remaining task of the peace process would be concluded soon as the law is victim-friendly.
Foreign Minister Rana has arrived in Washington DC on Sunday after attending the 79th United Nations General Assembly.
