Stakeholders have stressed the need of resolving the problem relating to power supply in Janakpurdham at the earliest.
Mayor of Janakpurdham sub-metropolis, Manoj Kumar Sah, shared that it was unfortunate to have disruption of power supply for long hours during hot weather. Consumers should not be forced to suffer in the pretext of dysfunctional transformer, he stressed.
At an all-side meeting held in Janakpurdham for the worship of Goddesses Ma Rajdevi, Baudhimata and Annapurnamata which is held every year, Mayor Sah expressed the view the power supply must be ended after installing additional two transformers.
Stating that Nepal Electricity Authority Distribution Centre, Janakpurdham, had been extremely neglecting the maintenance of transformer of Dhalkebar-Janakpurdham mainline though it was already a month it stopped functioning, he urged the bodies concerned to resolve the problem before festivals.

Likewise, Chief of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, Bhuwaneshwor Tiwari, shared that a large number of security personnel in plain clothes could be mobilized to end the problem of pick-pocketing taking place in fetes.
