Captain Nazmul Huda Faysal slammed a brilliant hat-trick as Bangladesh U-17 national football team registered their second successive win thrashing Macau by 7-0 goals in their third group match of the AFC Asian Cup 2025 Qualifiers held today (Friday) at Prince Stadium in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.
Apart from Faisal’s hat-trick with four goals in the 40th, 74th, 81st and 84th minutes, Md Manik and Md Rifat Kazi supported him with a lone goal each in the 65th, 71st minutes, while Tang Tin of Macau scored a suicidal goal in the 73rd minute in the one-sided affair.
With the day’s emphatic win, Saiful Bari Titu’s men stayed in the fight of group runners-up race. The ten group champions and the top five runners-up from the qualifiers will play in the final round which will be held next year.
Bangladesh has secured six points from three matches from these qualifiers in Cambodia.

ter a solitary goal win over Philippines in their second group match.
Bangladesh pitted in group B along with Afghanistan, Philippines, Macau and host Cambodia, will play their ultimate group match against Afghanistan on Sunday (October 27) at the same venue.
