Two new members have been included in the nine-member ad-hoc committee, which was formed repealing the Upazila Primary Education Committee.
Now, the total committee members have stood at 11, a press release said.
Two new members are the Upazila Assistant Primary Education Officer (nominated by the Convener of the Committee) and the Assistant Teacher of the nearest Government Primary School (nominated by the Convener of the Committee).
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Upazila Primary Education Officer will serve as convener and member secretary of the committee respectively.
Other members of the ad-hoc committee are: Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Upazila Social Services Officer, Upazilla Secondary Education Officer, Instructor, Upazila Resource Centre, Upazila Engineer and two headmasters of the nearest government primary schools (one male and one female nominated by UNO).
This committee will continue until further order, added the release.
By replacing the notification issued on September
10, 2024 regarding the formation of ad-hoc committee, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education today issued another notification for inclusion of the two members in the committee.
