State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain has said there is a need for more plans for skill development training to achieve the government’s target to build a developed country by 2041.
“Vocational and skill training can help our youths greatly contribute more to the country’s development and this is how our youths will become the most efficient human resources for the nation,” he said.
The state minister was addressing the quarterly coordination meeting on Sunday night arranged by Save the Children on the pre-vocational training programme of Reaching Out-of-School Children (ROSC-II), a project taken by the government with support from the World Bank and technical assistance from Save the Children.
